Terms of Service

Welcome to Trustfone. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Trustfone mobile app, web properties, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure.
2. Listings and trades
- Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings — title, condition, specifications, and price.
- Buyers are responsible for inspecting items in person before paying (cash-in-person trades) or for opting into Safe Trading where available.
- Listings of stolen goods, counterfeit devices, or items prohibited by local law will be removed and may result in account suspension.
3. Safe Trading
Safe Trading is an opt-in mediation service. When a buyer initiates Safe Trading and an admin accepts, the conversation becomes a three-way group chat with a Trustfone admin who helps verify payment and delivery. Safe Trading fees are paid in credits — see the in-app price list for current rates.
4. Credits
- Credits are a non-refundable, non-transferable in-app currency. They are used only for platform features (Safe Trading, featured listings, Verified Seller badge, etc.).
- Credits are added to your wallet only after admins verify your payment proof. Top-ups submitted with insufficient or incorrect proof may be declined.
- Credits cannot be exchanged for cash and are not transferable between users.
5. Conduct in chat
To protect users from off-platform scams, sharing personal contact information (phone numbers, email, social handles) inside the chat is not allowed. We use both client-side and server-side scanning to enforce this. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
6. Acceptable use
- No harassment, hate speech, or impersonation.
- No automated scraping or unauthorized access to the Service.
- No use of the Service to commit fraud or violate any law.
7. Disputes
Buyers and sellers can raise a dispute on any active Safe Trading request. Trustfone admins will review evidence from both sides and decide a remedy in good faith. Outside of Safe Trading, Trustfone is not a party to the trade and cannot guarantee outcomes.
8. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from the profile screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app and on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
