About Trustfone

Trustfone is a marketplace for buying and selling second-hand smartphones and tablets in Myanmar. We’re built around three ideas:

• Trust, not luck. Most second-hand sales are decided by gut feel. We add structure: verified sellers, condition grading, and an opt-in mediation flow called Safe Trading.
• Local-first payments. Credits are bought with KBZPay, Wave Money, MPT Money, Mytel Pay, Ooredoo Money, or cash via local agents — no card required.
• Privacy on by default. Buyers and sellers don’t exchange phone numbers in chat. Personal contact info is filtered to protect both sides from off-platform scams.

How a typical trade works

1. A buyer finds a device they like and starts a chat with the seller.
2. If both parties want extra protection, the buyer initiates Safe Trading.
3. An admin accepts and joins the conversation as a third participant.
4. Buyer pays, seller hands over the device, both confirm.
5. The trade is marked complete and both can rate each other.
