Invite friends, earn credits

Inviting a friend to Trustfone earns you free credits when they verify their phone number. Both you and your friend benefit: they get the new account bonuses (signup + phone verified), and you get a referral payout on top.

Where to find your code

Open the app and go to Profile → Refer friends, earn credits. Your 6-character code is shown there — every account gets one automatically the moment you sign up. The same screen also shows how many friends you have referred so far.

Tap Copy code to put it on your clipboard, then share it on WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, in person — wherever you like.

How a friend uses your code

Your friend signs up to Trustfone normally. After their account is created, they go to the same Refer friends screen and tap Apply code, then paste the 6-character code you sent them.

A code can only be applied once per account. If your friend has already entered a different referral code earlier, they cannot switch later.

Entering the code does not pay you anything yet. The payout is held back until your friend verifies their identity.

When you get paid

The payout fires the moment your friend verifies their phone number with the OTP we send them. At that moment, two things happen at once:

1. Your friend gets the Verify your phone bonus credited to their wallet.
2. You get the Refer a friend bonus credited to your wallet.

You’ll see the new balance the next time you open the wallet screen. The friend count on your referral screen will tick up by one.

How much you earn

The exact amount is shown on the Wallet → Earn free credits list, because admins can adjust the reward over time. Each friend you refer counts only once — you cannot earn the same payout twice for the same person.

Rules and limits

• No self-referrals. You cannot enter your own code on your own account.
• One referrer per account. If a code has already been applied, a second one is rejected.
• One payout per friend. Even if a friend later un-verifies and re-verifies their phone, the payout only fires once.
• Phone verification is required. A friend who never verifies their phone never triggers the referral payout.

Why the delay?

The payout is gated on phone verification on purpose. It stops people from creating fake accounts purely to farm referral credits — every verified phone number is a real person, so every payout is a real referral.

Troubleshooting

“Invalid referral code” — double-check the code. It’s 6 characters and the alphabet skips I, O, 0, and 1 to avoid confusion. The code is case-insensitive but cannot contain spaces.

“A referral has already been applied” — your account already has a referrer attached, so a new code cannot replace it.

Friend signed up but I didn’t get paid — they probably haven’t verified their phone yet. The payout only fires after the OTP step completes.
